Janet earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2020 and is board-certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AG-ACNP). Janet received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Louisiana College in Pineville, Louisiana in 1992.
Janet has over 28 years of nursing experience primarily in emergency medicine, palliative care, critical care, and the operating room with extensive knowledge of interventional pain management treatments. She is dedicated to providing compassionate care by actively listening and partnering with patients to optimize quality of life through the management of pain. Janet believes that the best way to manage pain is through an integrative, balanced approach, utilizing multiple techniques including physical therapy, behavior modification, exercise, meditation, stretching, breathing exercises, as well as interventional pain procedures.
Janet pursued her nurse practitioner degree while still raising her family. Her mission is to offer patients individualized and effective treatment plans. She recognizes that those suffering from chronic pain can benefit substantially from various treatments to not only alleviate pain, but to also reduce stress, enhance coping mechanisms, and improve quality of life.
