He is a graduate of Cornell University in New York and Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. After a surgery internship, he completed an anesthesia residency at Rush University Medical Center. He furthered his education in interventional pain management with fellowship training at the University of Illinois Medical Center. Dr. Hong is the founder and medical director of Gateway Spine & Pain Physicians. Timothy R. Tumlin, Ph.D.Timothy R. Tumlin, Ph.D. is a psychologist who has specialized in treating persons with a wide variety of chronic pain conditions in the Chicago area for 15 years. A graduate of the University of Florida’s Department of Clinical & Health Psychology, his clinical practice has included work with other specialties, such as oncology and bariatric surgery, and he also helps individuals experiencing psychological distress not related to medical conditions. |
