Dr. John K. Hong
Dr. John K. Hong is double board certified in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He received his Bachelor of Arts and Medical Doctorate degrees at Cornell and Tufts Universities. After an internship in General Surgery, he completed a residency in Anesthesiology at Rush University Medical Center and then a fellowship in Pain Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Dr. Hong is the founder and President of Gateway Spine & Pain Physicians. He serves as the medical director of inpatient and outpatient pain management at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital.
Dr. Andrew Kalin
Dr. Andrew Kalin is double board certified in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He received his Bachelor of Arts from DePaul University and his Medical Doctorate degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine. Dr. Kalin completed his residency in Anesthesiology and fellowship in Pain Medicine at UH Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Jiten Patel
Dr. Jiten Patel is double board certified in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He received his Bachelor of Science and Medical Doctorate degrees at the University of Illinois and the University of Illinois at Chicago, respectively. After completing a transitional year at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, he completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin and the University of Illinois at Chicago and then a fellowship in Pain Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Dr. George Charuk
Dr. Charuk is an experienced clinician who treats a wide variety of musculoskeletal problems with a particular focus on painful disorders of the spine, from the neck through the lower back. He believes in a holistic approach to care, not only treating pain, but also the underlying musculoskeletal causes to prevent further injury. Dr. Charuk provides both traditional approaches to treatment such as medications, physical therapy, interventional techniques (epidural spinal, facet, trigger point injections, and nerve ablations) and regenerative and alternative options including platelet rich plasma (PRP) injections and prolotherapy to promote healing.
Stacie Wharton, PA-C
Stacie Wharton, PA-C, is a Board Certified Physician Assistant with a special interest in Pain Management.
She earned her physician assistant certificate from Malcom X College and her Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from St. Francis University. She is board certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants. Stacie received her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences at Aurora University.

Neli Y Cohen provides psychotherapy and holistic Neurorehabilitation, as well as Quantitative Electroencephalogram (QEEG) evaluations for individuals and families who are coping with the consequences of various psychological and neurological conditions.
Sharon Jensen, MSW, LCSW

Sharon has worked in the field of Social Work for 28 years and has been doing clinical work as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for 10 years, treating a variety of psychiatric disorders and working with people of all ages providing individual, group, couples and family therapy.
Tina Musselman MA, LPC, RD, LDN
Tina Musselman is a registered dietitian, licensed dietitian nutritionist and licensed counselor. She has been working in the field of diet, lifestyle and wellness management for 15 years; specializing in functional nutrition, weight management and bariatric surgery. One of the core philosophies in her work is that the body has an innate ability to heal itself if you give it what it needs to function.
