Stacie Wharton, PA-C
Stacie Wharton, PA-C, is a Board Certified Physician Assistant with a special interest in Pain Management.
She earned her physician assistant certificate from Malcom X College and her Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from St. Francis University. She is board certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants. Stacie received her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences at Aurora University.
Stacie has extensive experience in a wide variety of medical fields including pain management, primary care, emergency medicine, and orthopedics. She has a particular interest in the multi-modal treatment of pain to optimize functionality and minimize suffering. She has a passion for patient education and advocacy.
Prior to joining the team at Gateway, Stacie gained valuable experience working at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital where she practiced general medicine within the clinic and urgent care settings treating a wide variety of medical conditions including acute and chronic pain.
Stacie is dedicated to providing quality and compassionate care to her patients.
